Christmas
~

Our pick for the best new Christmas book of the year is Chris Raschka’s Little Tree – the heartwarming and whimsically illustrated story of a little tree that dreams of being a beautiful Christmas tree, with his own little family in his own little house, inspired by the poem by e. e. cummings. A close runner-up is Stephen Krensky’s How Santa Lost His Job, the winning sequel to last year’s How Santa Got His Job. As for the standard classics of the season – just which versions of The Night Before Christmas and A Christmas Carol are the best? Click on these two titles below to see which editions we favor (and don’t forget to look in the Movies and Audio sections, too!) These and the following are certainly not the only Christmas books, movies and audio available – they’re just some of our favorites. Remember to check your local public library or children’s bookstore for more!
